How to solve the common problems of using gift box glue?

1. The adhesive fastness of gift box is not high, and the box is degummed. Degumming refers to the cracking of adhesive mouth due to insufficient bonding fastness. The main reasons are summarized as follows:

(1) The viscosity of adhesive is not enough or the amount of glue is not enough.

(2) The adhesive does not match the carton material.

(3) It is difficult for the adhesive to penetrate through the surface layer and the paper after the surface processing such as laminating and polishing.

(4) After folding and gluing, the pressure is not enough, and the pressure time is not long enough, which is not conducive to sticking firmly.

For the above problems caused by adhesive paste box is not firm, should choose and carton materials to adapt to the adhesive, and the choice and use of adhesive is also very particular.

First of all, we can not mistakenly think that the higher the viscosity of the adhesive, the better the paste box effect. When the viscosity is high, the strength of the adhesive will be high, and the wrinkling rate will also increase. The recommended viscosity of the adhesive is 500-1000 CPS when the coating roller of the automatic pasting machine runs at a high speed of 112 rpm. Secondly, the adhesive bond strength is strong.

Because the instant pressure of the forming part of the automatic pasting machine is not very high, and in the high-speed operation process of producing 30-40 cartons per minute, the pressure time is not long, and the adhesive with strong adhesion can bond the cartons firmly even if it is pressed lightly.

In addition, the environmental temperature of the paste box workshop will also have a certain impact on the adhesive. If the temperature of the paste box workshop is too low, the adhesive will solidify immediately, which will affect the bonding fastness. No matter how much glue is applied, it will not work. Of course, the less the amount of glue, the more sensitive to room temperature, so in winter, the temperature of paste box workshop should be kept above 20 ℃, if possible, air conditioning can be installed to adjust.

In the paste box workshop, large and easy to see thermometers should be installed to check and control the working environment at any time. For pasted products, they should be dried at room temperature before leaving the factory. Don't rush to deliver the goods before drying in winter.

There are four ways to solve the problem of gluing the paper box which has been coated and polished

First, the needle knife is placed at the sticky point when the die is cut, so that the surface of the sticky mouth can be punctured, so as to facilitate the penetration of the adhesive.

2、 Use the edging device attached to the automatic pasting machine to grind the surface layer of the adhesive mouth, so as to facilitate the penetration of the adhesive.

3、 The hot melt adhesive is sprayed on the adhesive part, and the material on the adhesive surface is melted at high temperature to improve the fastness of paste box.

4、 In prepress box design, you can pre film and glazing in the box edge to leave gelatinized parts.

For the phenomenon that the paste box is not firm due to insufficient pressure, the pressure of the pressing part of the paste box machine can be increased, the pressing time can be prolonged, or the adhesive with strong adhesion can be replaced.

2. The paper box is deformed when the gift box is glued

There are three main reasons for carton deformation

(1) Some die-cutting plate is hand-made, often because the accuracy is not high, resulting in the size of the carton is not consistent, paste box caused by carton deformation.

(2) Low concentration of adhesive and high water content lead to moisture absorption deformation of paperboard and unevenness of carton after forming.

(3) Paste box machine itself is not well adjusted.

To solve this problem, as long as the quality of die-cutting is stable, the appropriate concentration of adhesive is selected, and the paste box machine is adjusted.

3. The paper box is skewed

There are three main reasons for the skewness of carton adhesive port

(1) The indentation line groove is too wide, the indentation pressure is not enough, so that the indentation line is not full, and it can not be folded accurately according to the indentation line.

(2) Improper adjustment of folding transmission and inconsistent conveying speed on the left and right sides of the box lead to skew of the adhesive port.

(3) Improper installation of folding bar.

Solution: reduce the indentation line groove width, increase the indentation pressure; Adjust the folding transmission to make the conveying speed of the left and right sides of the carton consistent; Re install the folding bar.

4. Incorrect alignment of sticking mouth

The incorrect alignment of adhesive port means that the adhesive port is misplaced, and the misplaced carton can not be well formed. This phenomenon is usually caused by the inaccuracy of the adjustment accuracy. Furthermore, it is mainly due to the operator's insufficient understanding of the box type and paste box machine, which affects the operation level. Therefore, strengthening the training of operators, improving their operation skills and understanding of complex box type can effectively avoid the problem of inaccuracy.

5. Glue overflow at the mouth

Overflow refers to excessive adhesive flow out of the adhesive port. This phenomenon is mainly caused by the dislocation of adhesive mouth and excessive amount of adhesive. The phenomenon of glue overflow can be effectively reduced by grinding the adhesive and reducing the amount of glue.

2. Bonding strength: ≥ 3.8n/25mm or paper breakage;
